While working towards equity within a school community, it can be hard to know where to begin, and it’s easy to get lost one you start.

This four page progression tool (linked at the bottom of the page), includes six stages of equity development, and was designed by The Minor Collective while working with one of the most socially stratified and racially diverse school districts in the United States. It was created to exercise and create vision for identifying how a learning trajectory for equity development might go.

The guide supports team reflection, and serves as a reference document for accountability as groups of people work together to create communities where everyone benefits.
