I have the best job in the world. I support kids and teachers.
In that work, I’m learning that people don’t change because they come into casual contact with new information. Things change because of intentional design. I want change — in our classrooms, schools, and communities — so in my coaching and leadership, I’ve been very attentive to design.
When architecting radical change, reflection is an often overlooked design element. Each week, I help the teachers that I work for to reflect on our work together by making a quick video… I also know that reflection is an essential aspect of care. This week, I’m inviting you to our work together. The video above is my reflection on this week. I hope that it guides some of your thinking as well.
